A Short Biography of Elder Phyllis J. Robinson:
A Philadelphian for sure. Born and raised. She is the fourth child of the late Trustee Albert and Bishop Reo Jenkins. Receiving her formal education in the Philadelphia School System. After graduating from John Bartram High School, God opened a door for her to receive medical training as a Histology Technician, at Pennsylvania Hospital. Performing this job until retirement from the Hospital of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Elder Robinson received Christ as her personal Savior, at the age of eighteen, during a rival at Old Jerusalem, Church of the Living God 43 rd and Aspen Street, Bishop Minnie Thomas, Pastor, Bishop John Marshal, Revivalist. Being encouraged to study God’s word, Elder took courses at The Philadelphia College of the Bible and Whites Theological Institute. Mother of five children, one deceased. A Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, and last year was blessed to become a Great Great Grandmother. To God Be The Glory. Elder Robinson is one of the original thirty-five members, who on August 10, 1980, became Cathedral of Faith Church of the Living God. She has remained faithful down through the years. Serving in many different capacities and offices. Today, she is serving as an Associate Minister and Church Treasure. Yes, To God Be All The Glory.
